Emily Foulkes
Research and Development Manager – Research and DevelopmentEmily has a background in holistic practice as well as academia, education and research.
She has worked in music education and music and health since 2003 and is the director of a music for well-being charity based in Cornwall in the UK.
Emily presents and delivers training on inclusive and trauma-informed singing/music for health and well-being. She has had her research on singing and Mindfulness published in a peer-reviewed journal and sits on the editorial board of Australia Voice.
Emily founded the Singing for Health Network - an international membership network for anyone interested in the potential for singing to support physical and mental health and well-being.
In Cornwall, Emily runs Sounds Like Healing with her wife, offering regular Sound and Reiki sessions as well as Mantra and Healing Voice workshops and courses.
